This item is very strong. I bump a curb and no scratch yet. I rode over a small dip and no scrape yet. It's bound to happen eventually. It makes the car looks so much more sportier. I'm just grateful they made this splitter for my car and it's not the round type splitters that looks like a coaster. There are actually curves that makes it looks more aggressive.
