Unlike the high-pitched sound profile of our F1 System, the new AFD RS System is designed for Z06 owners who want a deeper tone, stronger V8 presence, reduced restriction, and increased performance potential.

This is a completely valveless, no-muffler exhaust system. There are no valves, no restrictive muffler chambers, and no quiet mode. The system remains fully open at all times for maximum sound, flow, and performance.

Deep and Aggressive RS Sound

The AFD RS Exhaust System gives the C8 Z06 a deeper and fuller exhaust note throughout the entire RPM range.

At lower RPM, the system produces a strong, muscular tone with substantially more presence than the factory exhaust. As the LT6 climbs toward its 8,600 RPM redline, the sound becomes louder and increasingly aggressive while retaining the exotic character of the flat-plane crank V8.

The factory muffler and valve assemblies add weight and create additional exhaust restriction. The AFD RS System replaces these components with a more direct and efficient exhaust path.

Completely Valveless Design

The AFD RS Exhaust System does not use exhaust valves.

The factory valves and valve actuators are not transferred to the AFD RS System. Once installed, the exhaust remains fully open at all times for unrestricted flow and sound.

NPP Simulators Included

NPP simulators are included with the AFD RS Exhaust System.

The simulators connect to the factory exhaust-valve wiring because the original valve actuators are no longer used. They are designed to help prevent valve-system-related warning messages after the factory exhaust is removed.

The NPP simulators do not control exhaust volume and do not add valve functionality. The AFD RS System remains completely valveless and fully open at all times.

OEM Downpipes

Retain the factory Z06 downpipes and catalytic converters for the most street-friendly RS configuration.

Check Engine Light Information

OEM Downpipes

An emissions-related check engine light is not expected when the AFD RS Exhaust is installed correctly with the factory catalytic converters and emissions equipment unchanged.

200-Cell High-Flow Downpipes

The 200-cell high-flow downpipes may cause an emissions-related check engine light depending on the vehicle and emissions-monitoring system.

Track Section

The Track Section will likely cause an emissions-related check engine light because the factory catalytic components are removed.

The included NPP simulators are designed to help prevent exhaust-valve-related warning messages. They do not prevent emissions-related check engine lights caused by downpipe or catalytic-converter modifications.
