Description
2023-2026 HONDA Civic Type-R (FL5) AFD Rear Wing Gurney Flap Extension
Enhance the aggressive rear styling of your FL5 with the AeroFlow Dynamics Gurney Flap designed for the factory rear spoiler. This simple upgrade adds a motorsport inspired edge to the OEM wing spoiler while maintaining a clean OEM+ appearance that perfectly complements the factory design.
For HONDA owners looking for a quick styling upgrade that delivers a big visual impact, this AeroFlow Dynamics Gurney Flap is one of the easiest and most effective modifications available.
💨 Why Add a Gurney Flap to Your FL5?
A gurney flap is a small aerodynamic extension mounted to the trailing edge of a spoiler. This design is commonly used in motorsports to improve airflow efficiency and increase rear stability at speed. By adding a vertical lip to the top of the spoiler, airflow separates more efficiently, which can improve aerodynamic performance while also dramatically enhancing the visual presence of the rear end.
For many enthusiasts, a gurney flap is one of the easiest ways to enhance the performance styling of the vehicle without replacing the entire spoiler.
🔧 Fitment
Designed specifically to mount to the factory rear spoiler OR our AFD Wing replacement for the 11th gen Civic Type-R, this AFD gurney flap ensures precise alignment and a seamless integration into the vehicle.

A
Good quality as far as the spoiler. Not a fan of the double sided tape it comes with. Tape started coming apart even after cleaning the area before install. The gray tape is a bit thick and visible. After it started peeling off I decided to take it off and apply a clear double sided tape and re install. Looks much better . Overall I like the spoiler for my spoiler lol. It’s a cool add on.
J
Overall fit good the finish need a little adjustment.. paint need more polish and the bottom of the lip need better finish from the molding of the product a lot of pieces still protrude after the double side tape is taped on so it makes stuff bottom uneven not flat.. top finish show some of the circle indention from the press mold. But over all good fitment, after a few track day to see if it holds up...
